About us
TREF crew reviewing a take on set

A Bandung production house that started on music video sets. Today we shoot commercials, campaigns, company profiles and films for brands, artists and institutions.

TREF started in 2024 shooting music videos for Bandung artists. The client list has since grown to Danantara Indonesia, Bank BRI, Nestlé and Epson, alongside the local labels and musicians we started with.

We handle the whole job in-house: concept and script, the shoot, then edit, colour and sound. You work with one team from the first brief to the master file.

The Laundry
ザ・ランドリー

A Japanese-language short film by TREF Production, directed by Iqbal Firdaus. Shooting in Tokyo, January 2027.

Hana in the laundromat, a moodboard frame from The Laundry

A meticulous teenage girl runs an illegal service that removes painful memories, until a forgotten recording makes her question whose memories she has been carrying all along.

The film treats memory as something physical. Tokyo is not a postcard but a winter atmosphere: compact rooms, laundromats and ordinary streets. The final question is not whether Hana can erase a memory, but whether she still wants to.
